Terms and Conditions (Includes Cancellation Policy)

Safety
_ Customers are advised to keep themselves, pets, children and others off carpets until the carpets are completely dry
_ Customers are advised to be aware of slip/trip hazards. This includes, but is not limited to, cords, hoses and wet to dry transitions (ie walking off a wet carpet onto tile is extremely slippery)
_ Customers are advised to keep pets and children away from the technician and his/her chemicals at all times.

Room Size
Maximum room size is12 square meters. Combined lounge and dining rooms are considered 2 rooms.

Furniture
Unless otherwise stated, furniture removal is not included in the quoted price.
Customer is advised to not put furniture back onto wet carpet as it could stain the carpet.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation or reschedule requires notifying Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning two business days prior to your appointment or a fee of $79 or 20% of the job value applies, whichever is more expensive. Any cancellation where we have driven to your property will incur a further fee (usually just $20 extra but depends on distance etc). (If the client is not present on-site nor answering technician’s phone call, the cancellation fee will be applied).

Payment Options
We accept cash/card (credit cards attract a surcharge)

Invoicing and Late Fees (Terms of Trade)
Quick Dry Carpets may at its discretion invoice clients.
Payment terms are strictly seven days from invoice.
Any invoice not paid within the seven days will incur admin and interest charges of $25 per month plus GST.
Any invoice that is passed onto debt collectors will incur the full costs of the debt collectors.
Clients are fully responsible for all admin and interest charges and debt collection costs.

Vacuuming
Depending on which carpet cleaning package you have purchased, pre vacuuming may/may not be included, however, regardless of which package you have have purchased, a post vacuum is required and is the customers responsiblitiy to complete.


General– The price for our services given to you over the phone / email is subject to inspection of the job before work commences.
– When our technicians arrive at your premises they will inspect and measure the areas you have told us about.
– The technician will then inspect the carpet and stains before work commences.
– The technician will also confirm the price with you before work commences.
– Most of the time the price given over the phone does not change.
– The technician will sometimes quote extra after inspection when the following occurs;
a) There are extra rooms or areas that we were not told about.
b) The Rooms are larger than 12m2.
c) Carpet/uphostery is heavily soiled or has difficult stains that require extra work. "Difficult stains" include, but are not limited to:Tea/Coffee, Acidic stains, Red wine, Curry, Cordial, milk, urine, faeces, lipstick, paint etc.
    Whilst we have a high success rate of removing stains, Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning cannot and does not guarantee that any/all stains will be removed upon cleaning.
_ The customer is advised that certain stains are impossible to remove and that certain conditions caused by wear and tear and other factors are not apparent until completion of cleaning.
– The technician will make every reasonable and professional attempt to clean the carpet to the best of his ability.
– Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning and its employees will not be responsible nor liable for any damage that is in any way caused or assisted by pre-existing conditions, especially if they are not apparent upon visual inspection.
_ If the technician steam cleans the couch or carpets then customers are responsible for ensuring that either windows and doors are left open or fans are put on to assist with drying. If this is not done then other complications may arise, for which Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning will not be held responsible for.
– In rare situations, some deep carpet stains are not visible in the initial inspection and are actually hidden beneath the carpet fibers, after a proper clean these stains may rise to the top surface of the carpet. This is known as wicking. Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning are not responsible nor liable for wicking.
– All complaints must be reported within 48 hours by calling or emailing Quick Dry Carpet Cleaning.
